Some users may experience problems getting their mail if their local mail program is not set up properly. Some older versions of email programs need to be updated. Everyone with an account can check there email by clicking on this link to use WEBMAIL. This Webmail does not require any email software and can be used to send and receive email. The new mail server will greatly reduce junk e-mail (spam) and allows new webmail which allows you to check your mail from any browser connected to the Internet without having to configure a email program.

Configuration for OUTLOOK - OUTLOOK EXPRESS 5.X
Open Outlook and go to Tool then Accounts in the pull down menu, click on the Mail tab then highlight your Treknet email account and press the properties button to see the configuration screens. Check that your configuration looks like the one below by use your email address in place of youraddress@treknet.net. You can get a Free upgrade for Outlook Express by going to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and down loading a newer version of Internet Explore and Outlook Express. The upgrade is FREE!

Open Eudora, click on Tool then Internet Options then match the settings
pictures by replacing the youraddress@treknet.net with your email account
information.
If you have a version of Eudora which is older than version 4 you should
download a NEW FREE version 5.X at http://www.eudora.com
Open Netscape 4.X, click on Edit then Preferences from the pull down menus then click on the plus sign (+) next to "Mail & Newsgroups" to expand the settings menu, then click on identity and match your personal email information to the one pictured below.
2. Click on the "Mail Servers" link under Identity to get to this configuration screen and check your settings.
3. Click on the edit button to Get the "Mail server Properties" and match the information below with your personal information for your account. The close all windows and restart the program. Be sure you are online when you try to check your email.
